Potbelly Sandwich Shop – New Businesses in Oktoberfest Southlake
One of the fastest growing communities in Texas, Southlake is a community with plenty to offer both tourists and residents alike. With the wide range of culture and activities for people of all ages in Southlake, it’s truly one of the hidden gems left in Texas. Fall is fast approaching, which means it’s once again time for the 14th Oktoberfest Southlake Festival.
Held by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce, Oktoberfest has been a widely successful festival, with over 100,000 visitors last year alone. Providing residents and visitors a wide range of things to eat and see, this year’s Oktoberfest promises to be one of the best festivals yet.
Whether it’s a cold brew or the variety of eateries at Octoberfest, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Featuring many live shows and local bands, this year’s Oktoberfest runs through the first weekend of October. Headlining the event this year are over 20 different shows and features up to 6 separate stages for live performances and acts.
Come out and enjoy the festival over the weekend at Town Square, and enjoy the handcrafted crafts and various items and trinkets for sale. Quench your thirst whether you need refreshment or a cold beer, and don’t forget to bring the children. Southlake’s Oktoberfest also features a child play area that’s packed with entertainment and lots of safe, fun activities for ages of all ranges.
Want to get involved in this year’s festival? It’s still not too late to become a vendor or even a sponsor of this tremendous event. Donations help develop further activities and sign more talent for the upcoming festivals ahead. Vendors can sell their wares and showcase their talents to over 100,000 visitors at this year’s Oktoberfest. If you have handmade arts or crafts that you want to ply at this year’s event, make sure to register online at www.oktoberfestsouthlake.com for more information.
Of course you can still get involved if you don’t have anything to sell, or don’t want to donate to this great event. Volunteers are needed for this year’s festival and you can register online and pick up your volunteer lanyards at the check-in booth on Friday.
If you are interested in volunteering for Oktoberfest Southlake, the check-in booths will be located near Gate 1 on the west side of Town Hall. Make sure to head there first to pick up your paperwork and materials.
If you love beer or enjoy shopping the local wares, or even want to enjoy the famous wiener dog races that have been so wildly popular in this event, Oktoberfest Southlake is the event for you.
